Above all else the Christian and the Church needs the Holy Spirit. He is The Helper, He is our helper, without Him the Bible is simply a big book, praise just singing and evangelism flogging a dead horse! With the Holy Spirit working in and through us, there is great potential for transformation in our lives and communities. The privilege we have as God’s people, living in this New Covenant, is that the Holy Spirit has been sent to dwell in our hearts. He isn’t a casual visitor but our constant companion. However, it is clear that we are able to know greater measures of His presence in our lives, made evident by our love for God and His glory.
