We are hiring a part-time office-based Administrative Assistant.

Christ Central Church exists to see lives and communities, in, around and beyond Portsmouth, transformed by the gospel, enjoying God and glorifying Him in all things.   We are in need of part time administrative support for 15 hours a week based in our office in Southsea.  This can be worked flexibly to suit, within office hours, Monday to Friday, 9 – 5pm.

You will be joining a small, focussed, friendly team and you’ll be facilitating everything the church does through releasing the current team as you take on day-to-day administration of existing tasks.  You’ll need to be IT literate as task include: Uploading sermons and teaching notes, looking after our database and membership list, maintaining registers, booking venues, keeping the office supplies stocked up, and printing.

Everything will be taught, and people with experience will be on hand, so no need to have experience of all the above, you will be supported as you learn.

The job is a 1 year contract (to begin with) starting on 30thAugust and attracts a salary of £11.09 per hour (above Living Wage). You’ll be entitled to 5 weeks holiday plus an additional 4 days to cover public holidays (due to part time role).
